SECTION 24 – PRODUCT SAFETY & LIMITATIONS

Our luggage strap is designed to reduce accidental opening of luggage and provide quick identification, but it is not a security device and cannot guarantee 100% protection against loss, tampering, or removal.

 

25.1 TSA-Approved Lock Access

The integrated lock on your INTACT. strap is TSA-approved, which means:

  • TSA and authorized airport security officers can open the lock at any time using their master keys for inspection.
  • These inspections are routine and outside our control.
  • INTACT. is not responsible for straps removed, unlocked, repositioned, or not returned by airport or customs authorities during inspection.

25.2 Strap Movement During Transit

Due to handling processes, conveyor belts, loading/unloading, and inspections:

  • The strap may shift, loosen, or move position on the luggage during transit.
  • This is normal and does not indicate a defect.
  • The strap is not guaranteed to stay fixed in one position throughout international or domestic travel.

25.3 No Guarantee of Loss Prevention

While the strap helps keep luggage closed, it cannot prevent:

  • Luggage being opened by security staff & TSA agents
  • Tampering by third parties
  • Loss of the strap caused by handling by airlines or airport authorities
  • Damage caused by extreme pressure, machinery, or conveyor systems

Because these events are outside our control, INTACT. is not liable for loss of the strap or contents of the luggage.

 

25.4 Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Properly securing and tightening the strap before travel
  • Ensuring compliance with airline and airport requirements
  • Understanding that TSA agents may legally open or remove the strap during inspection
